Adolph Zukor, Hollywood mogul and head of Paramount Studios, built it in 1918 to be his personal oasis. The private estate served as the vibrant backdrop for many Golden Age soirées until it was sold and converted into the Dellwood Country Club in 1948. Later, the new owners renamed it to Paramount Country Club to reflect its prestigious roots.
